Although incorporated only in 1970, Imptex was a synergy of the initial efforts and part of the vision and creation of the late Mr. R. L. Rastogi. He was a pioneer in the importation of textiles in the USA. Mr. Rastogi's expertise in the manufacture and trading of textile products helped establish himself as one of the first volume importers of textiles in the USA dating back to the mid-1950's.
